Built for how adviser meetings actually go
A meeting recording you cannot rely on is worse than no recording at all, because you stopped taking notes on the strength of it.
Survives interruptions
An incoming call, another app taking the microphone, or a change of audio device pauses the recording rather than losing it. What you captured is saved — tap resume and carry on.
Works without signal
Client offices, basements and trains are not a problem. The meeting is written to the phone as you record and uploads by itself once you are back online.
Nothing leaves until you confirm
Recordings stay on the iPhone until you name the meeting and choose to upload. If a conversation should never have been recorded, discard it before it goes anywhere.
The app, end to end
Four screens, in the order a meeting actually happens.

Recording

Interrupted, not lost

Named, then uploaded

Confirmed in TakeNote
From meeting room to client file
Record
Open the app and start recording. Lock the phone and put it face down — the recording continues.
Name and upload
Give the meeting a name so you can find it later, then upload it to TakeNote. Long meetings split across parts are rejoined into one recording.
Review in TakeNote
Transcription, summary and your suitability record are produced in TakeNote on the web, filed against the right client.
TakeNote Recorder is a companion app. It requires a TakeNote account and cannot be used on its own.
