Managing tasks
Tasks track the follow-up actions you owe across your clients, whether you added them by hand or accepted them from a transcript or document.
Where tasks appear
The Tasks page shows every task across all your clients. The Tasks tab on a client record shows only that client's tasks. Both use the same list, so a task's status, due date, and title stay consistent wherever you view it.

Statuses
Tasks are grouped into three statuses: To-do, In progress, and Completed. Each tab shows a count. Select a task's checkbox to mark it complete; completed tasks move to the Completed tab.
Finding and sorting
Use the search box to filter tasks by title, and sort by due date to bring the most urgent work to the top. On the all-clients view, each row shows the client the task belongs to; on a client record that column is hidden because every task belongs to the same client.
Adding and editing
Select Add task to create a task, giving it a title, the client it belongs to, and an optional due date. Use the edit control on a row to change any of these details, and the delete control to remove a task you no longer need.
Task sources
A task added by hand carries no source reference. A task accepted from a suggestion keeps a link to where it came from — a meeting or a document — so you can open the source from the task and see the context behind it.
